I am thankful for..
I am thankful that my mom is getting so much better. She gets to come home today. I am so excited. I have been waiting for this day for a while. I am so happy that I don't have to go and sit up a hospital any more..
I am thankful for teachers. My mom works at the elementary school that I went to and some of that staff is coming to visit my mom today before she is discharged. It is going to be a blessing to see them and just know how much they have been praying for my mom has been a blessing.
I am thankful for the power of PRAYER! I can't now thank everyone in person that has been praying for my mom because there are just so many people praying for her. it is truly a blessing to know that everyone is praying and cares about her.
I will update later.

I am thankful for days 14-16
Sorry I have missed a couple of days, I have had a couple of family issues go on just these past couple days. Any way I will tell you some more things that I am thankful for....
I am thankful for doctors and nurses that can help people. My mom just got sick not that long ago and is in the hospital and I am so happy that she is here and getting taken care of. She has a blood infection and it is blessing to know that she is here in the hospital comfortable and not in pain. It is such a blessing to know that she is not home and in pain.
I am thankful for Friends, I know I said this before but my friends have been such a blessing and have helped me and are still helping me get through this hard time while my mom is sick. THey have really showed God's love to me when I told them that my mom was sick. This is the second time that my mom has been sick so one of my friends went through the same thing with me last time it happened and the day that my mom went in to the hospital my friend ask if I was okay, it I needed anything and that she would be praying. It means every thing to me. I am so happy to call them my friend and I am so glad God blessed me with friends that care about me so much.
I am thankful for the leaders of this country. I am so happy that my parents adopted me and I can live free in this country, I am truly blessed by so many things.

I am thankful for days 3-10
I know I have missed quite a fews days but Today I am going to put down 7 things that I am thankful for. So lets get started:
I am thankful for my house. We have had some really cold weather. We have had a lot of rain and even snow/sleet. It is always nice to come home after a long day at school and go into a nice warm house. It is truly a blessing. I love that I am am able to live in a house with my amazing family and sit around the table and eat a really good dinner.
I am thankful for good food because I think about people that don't have food or only get 3 meals a day. Not to brag or anything but if I am hungry, I can just go into our kitchen and get food. It really is a blessing to have food basically right at my hands.
I am thankful for church! I am really thankful that I can go to a church and be apart of the body of Jesus Christ. The church that I go to, has been the church that I have gone to my entire life. I am thankful that I am involved with in the library at my church.
I am thankful for electronics not just because they are fun and everything. I have family that lives in Chicago and really the only way that we connect is over email. Our lives now today are basically revolved around electronics
I am thankful for my dog, yes I said my dog. I love my dog. I don’t usually think of being thankful of my dog but I really I am thankful for. her.
I am thankful for cars. I am thankful that we don’t have to walk every like people did in the old days. We just talked about this in one of my class and we talked about how blessed we are.
I am thankful for music, it is nice to just take a break and listen to music. I love listening to music. It is always nice to sing music in chapel and in church and anywhere I am.
So yeah That is just 7 more things that I am thankful I will try to update more regular again.

I am Thankful for....
So last year if you were reading my blog I posted everyday with one or two things that I am thankful for and I am going to do that again this year. I know I am three days behind but today I will just post 3 things that I am thankful for.....
The first thing that I am thankful for is FAMILY!!! I have an AMAZING family!!!! I love them so much!!! They help me push on and endure when things get tough. They love me with all they have in them! My parents we blessed when they adopted me and today at my church we recognized the people that have adopted and have been adopted and I had the privilege to stand and say that I have been adopted. I am just so thankful that my parents felt the call to adopt my sister and I. I am thankful for every single person in my family. I am thankful for my dad because he works really hard, he is up early to wake me up and make sure I get off yo school, and then he is up late at night doing things to make sure that I am ready for the next day of school. My mom!!! All I can say is she is AMAZING!!! She has taught me so much! She taught me how to have a special place for kids with disabilities. My brother, he is the best brother I could ask for! Wouldn't trade him for ANYTHING!!!! Even though he has a disability he has taught me SO MUCH!!! He has gone through so much!! I look up to him!!! Last but certainly NOT least is my sister. Like I said that we were both adopted I am so thankful to call her my sister!!! God has truly blessed me to become closer with my sister! I look up to her in hard situations and I am so glad that she is there that I can talk to her. Riding in the car to school is my favorite time to talk with her because it is just the two of us. I feel like as we have gotten older I have become closer with her. When I say I am thankful for family it doesn't mean the 4 people that I have mentioned I am also SO thankful for my extended family on both side. My mom's side have gone through a lot together and I don't think that I would be who I am today with out any of them. We have also gone though so much with my dad's side of the family! I can't thank them enough for helping me become who I am today.
Another thing that I am thankful for is my FRIENDS!! I love them all! I might now say it but I do. God has blessed me with an AMAZING group of friends. We are very close knit friend group. I can tell them really anything and I know that if I need prayer they will pray for me and that they know that I would do the same for them. God is truly working in our hearts to be sisters in Christ. All of my friends have different personalities and talents that bring us together! We might not always get along I still love them like they are family. Those aren't my only friends though. My friends at Compassionate Heart I am so thankful for! I am truly blessed to be a apart of that family and call them all my friends. I love all of my friends so much. I couldn't even imagine my life with out them. I am truly blessed beyond words thanks to them. I love you all!!
Lastly for today, I am thankful Compassionate Heart! God have been doing AMAZING and AWESOME things with me there. I was truly blessed this summer to do the serve project though Compassionate Heart and I am so glad that I did. Having a brother that has a disability his entire life and seeing him not have that many friends breaks my heart. That is why I go to Compassionate Heart because I want to be a friend to those kids that are there. I know what they have to go through. We talked one time in our Bible class how we have to be the hands and feet of Jesus. That is what I want to do when I am at Compassionate Heart! I have this AMAZING opportunity to do that I challenge you to do the same! It doesn't have to be with kids that have disabilities. If you see someone in school that is struggling with their lunch or drop something in the hall, help them and be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!
What are you thankful for??? November isn't just about the turkey, the potatoes and all the food even though it is really good isn't just about that. God has blessed us with so much. Just take a minute to think about it and I'll be back tomorrow to tell you another thing I am thankful for.

Build Your Kingdom Here by Rend Collective Experiment
So this is one of my all time favorite songs right now! Love it the lyrics are below and so is a link to the video. I really like this song because it talks about how we want God to build his Kingdom here on Earth and we are helping him build this kingdom.
Come set Your rule and reignIn our hearts againIncrease in us we prayUnveil why we're madeCome set our hearts ablaze with hopeLike wildfire in our very soulsHoly Spirit come invade us nowWe are Your ChurchWe need Your powerIn us
We seek Your kingdom firstWe hunger and we thirstRefuse to waste our livesFor You're our joy and prizeTo see the captive hearts releasedThe hurt, the sick, the poor at peaceWe lay down our lives for heaven's causeWe are Your churchWe pray reviveThis earth
Build Your kingdom hereLet the darkness fearShow Your mighty handHeal our streets and landSet Your church on fireWin this nation backChange the atmosphereBuild Your kingdom hereWe pray
Unleash Your kingdoms powerReaching the near and farNo force of hell can stopYour beauty changing heartsYou made us for much more than thisAwake the kingdom seed in usFill us with the strength and love of ChristWe are Your churchWe are the hopeOn earth
Build Your kingdom hereLet the darkness fearShow Your mighty handHeal our streets and landSet Your church on fireWin this nation backChange the atmosphereBuild Your kingdom hereWe pray
Build Your kingdom hereLet the darkness fearShow Your mighty handHeal our streets and landSet Your church on fireWin this nation backChange the atmosphereBuild Your kingdom hereWe pray
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Come set Your rule and reignIn our hearts againIncrease in us we prayUnveil why we're madeCome set our hearts ablaze with hopeLike wildfire in our very soulsHoly Spirit come invade us nowWe are Your ChurchWe need Your powerIn us

A Poem
NO, I did not write a poem but I wanted to share a poem that I read in class. It is called "Wait" By Russell Kelfer.
Wait
by Russell Kelfer
by Russell Kelfer
Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried;
Quietly, patiently, lovingly, God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate . . .
And the Master so gently said, "Wait."
"Wait? you say wait?" my indignant reply.
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith I have asked, and I'm claiming your Word.
"My future and all to which I relate
Hangs in the balance, and you tell me to wait?
I'm needing a 'yes', a go-ahead sign,
Or even a 'no' to which I can resign.
"You promised, dear Lord, that if we believe,
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
And Lord I've been asking, and this is my cry:
I'm weary of asking! I need a reply."
Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate,
As my Master replied again, "Wait."
So I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut,
And grumbled to God, "So, I'm waiting for what?"
He seemed then to kneel, and His eyes met with mine . . .
and He tenderly said, "I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead and cause mountains to run.
"I could give all you seek and pleased you would be.
You'd have what you want, but you wouldn't know Me.
You'd not know the depth of my love for each saint.
You'd not know the power that I give to the faint.
"You'd not learn to see through clouds of despair;
You'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there.
You'd not know the joy of resting in Me
When darkness and silence are all you can see.
"You'd never experience the fullness of love
When the peace of My spirit descends like a dove.
You would know that I give, and I save, for a start,
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of My heart.
"The glow of my comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight.
The depth that's beyond getting just what you ask
From an infinite God who makes what you have last.
"You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that My grace is sufficient for thee.
Yes, your dearest dreams overnight would come true,
But, oh, the loss, if you missed what I'm doing in you.
"So, be silent, my child, and in time you will see
That the greatest of gifts is to truly know me.
And though oft My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still . . . Wait."

SUMMER SERVE STARTS AGAIN
I am so excited to share with. You guys that summer serve starts today!! I am so excited! I am going to be a mentor and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me thus week! I am a little nervous! I go later on tonight around 6 and then we have dinner at one of the mentors houses! Then come back and sleep! In the morning we have orientation and training! Then later on tomorrow afternoon the participants come! I have an AMAZING AND AWESOME feeling already the God has an awesome plan for us this coming week! When I get back I will try do what I wore at serve post! We'll see! I just ask you my fellow readers to become prayer warriors and pray for all of the mentors and participants this week that we will all stay safe, healthy, happy but most of all see God work through this week and that we will be touch by God's AMAZING LOVE! Pray for all of the people invoked! Pray that God will truly bless us this week! Pray that the mentors will get along with the participants and the other way around! But most of all like I said before pray that God will lead us and show his awesome work this week!

Holy Week: Day 2
So While I was reading one of my devotions, I came across these couple of verses:
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.14 You are my friends if you do what I command.15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.17 This is my command: Love each other.
I just love these couple because God loves us and we have to love each other, and we have to follow God's command which is love each other.
SO on Day 2 I don't really remember that many things that happened. I just want you to remember what is coming up in the next couple days.
